COURSE OBJECTIVES
· To understand the basics of laparoscopy setup, Instrument design, handling of the instruments. And to know to set up a laparoscopy operation theatre.
· To acquire basic hand eye co-ordination, tissue handling, dissection techniques and trainees will be allowed to practice on basic laparoscopy skills on simulators.
· To know the indication, contraindication, complications of laparoscopy surgery.
· Trainees will be able to know the step by step technique of following laparoscopy procedures.
