How to take an Invisalign care
Achieving an ideal result requires the patient to maintain the aligner properly.
Invisalign maintenance is an easy task to perform which would be done in a matter of time.
How to Clean the aligners –
The aligners should be maintained and cleaned and must be removed while eating and having cold and hot-colored beverages.
You can drink water with your aligners on but juices or colored liquids should not be consumed with your aligners on.
Ideally, aligners must be worn for 20-22 hours per day. Except while early brushing or having hot & cold colored beverages.
The aligners can be cleaned gently or with an ultra-soft toothbrush every month but it is ideal to clean the teeth. Before wearing your aligners after every meal. Oil is a coloring agent (turmeric) on teeth. After a meal may cause fogging of your aligner hence brushing is recommended post-meal.
Whenever the aligners are removed for meals should be kept softly in the aligner box provided in your Invisalign starter kit
